Calling all Hospitality Businesses in Tipperary Town and surrounding areas
Want to better manage and reduce your business waste, potentially reduce costs and help your local environment then join us for the launch of the My Waste “Green Hub” Initiative for Tipperary Town.
Tipperary County Council, in association with My Waste, is delighted to announce the launch of the Tipperary Town Green Hub campaign with a breakfast morning event to be held in Ballykisteen Hotel on Tuesday 5th March from 8.00-9.00 a.m.
The event will be a chance for local businesses to hear about this new initiative for Tipperary Town and network over a light breakfast.
Hear from representatives from the Regional Waste Management Planning Office, Tipperary Green Business Network, Tipperary Local Enterprise Office and Tipperary ETB who will share their knowledge on greener business practices. You will also have the chance to learn about sustainable training and other business support opportunities that will be available over the next 6 months and how joining the Green Hub campaign will help create a greener, more environmentally conscious hospitality business community in Tipperary Town.
Ger Darcy, Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council stated,
“I would encourage all hospitality business in Tipperary Town and surrounding areas to join in the Green Hubs initiative. This is an excellent chance for the business community to join together to tackle business waste. Waste reduction and proper waste segregation will not only help the local environment but may also help businesses reduce their waste disposal costs. I am delighted that Tipperary Town has been selected as the first Green Hub in the County with the hope of the success of this initiative being replicated in towns all over the County”.
